GLS Parcel Point
While door-to-door courier delivery remains the most popular option for online purchases, the proportion of customers choosing in-person pickup is growing year by year. Customers can collect their orders conveniently and according to their own schedules at GLS Parcel Points, where cash payments are also accepted. GLS ParcelShops are located in easily accessible places, such as shopping centers, gas stations, bookstores, or other busy retail outlets. Most offer extended opening hours—including weekends—to accommodate customers looking to pick up or send parcels. GLS sends an email or SMS notification to the recipient regarding the delivery of the shipment. Customers can collect their parcel within 5 business days, during the operating hours of the chosen GLS ParcelShop.
